IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

In order to ensure a smooth, successful year, here are a few points we ask parents to keep in mind...

  1. Class Attendance
For the middle school, high school and confirmation programs, class attendance is mandatory!
    Middle School (6th - 8th) meets 12 times
    9th grade meets 9 times
10th grade meets 11 times, plus a MANDATORY Saturday retreat (TBA)

  2. S.O.S. (Servants of the Savior) Service Hours
Each of the higher level classes have a service requirement:
    Middle School (grades 6, 7, 8) - 10 hours
    High School (grades 9) - 18 hours
    Confirmation (grade 10) - 20 hours

    Requirement can be fulfilled through
Community Service (S.O.S.), Religious social activities, and Catholic youth conventions and retreats. These activities are intended to be an opportunity for our religious education students to put their faith to work. This is an extension of their time spent in class. We are asking them to be living examples of our faith as we have learned through the teachings of the Bible. This community service is intended to benefit the community of our parish and the extended community around us.

  3. Paperwork
    Religious Education Registration Form
    Student Emergency Information Form
    Family Profile Form
    Adult Volunteer Form
    Volunteer Information

    Service Hours Form
In order for students to receive credit for their S.O.S. hours, proper documentation is required. Students will be given Service Hours forms that they must fill out for each activity and have signed by that activity leader. Forms should then be turned in at the next class. Click here for Service Hours Sheet.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation, support and encouragement!
